Since January 2010, Oxford Machine & Welding Ltd. has been using Super Sling Inspection Service to provide our company with certified lifting equipment. This includes everything from plate clamps to nylon slings.
The benefit of knowing that all of our lifting devices are certified and inspected, not only saves numerous ours of our time, but also makes being compliant with current regulations easier to achieve.
All of our info and inspection reports are supplied online, on an easy to use website. This has proven an excetionally effective and time saving tool.
We would and have reccomended this service to our customers and to anybody who uses lifting equipment in their business.

Our rigging inspection performed by Super Slings was very thorough and they were exceptionally professional. Their online inspection database is really user friendly and effective in recording the inspection and inventory of the rigging. We will definitely use Super Slings for future inspections, and strongly recommend them for any company that is looking to have their rigging inspected.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Mr. Brant Peters during a plant-wide rigging inspection and auidit conducted here at OEM. Brants proffesional attitude and work ethic were evident right from the first day. As he worked through each department, he took the time to discuss his activities and the process with each department head, always let workers know what he was doing, and kept disruption of the work flow to an absolute minimum. At the end of the day, all information was uploaded into the N4 system for review by the next morning.....

I took the SUPER SLING course in July 2010 . We were shown many examples of damaged chains and slings and the dangers involved if used. I strongly recommend this course to anyone who works with these types of lifting devices. When I saw actual failure demonstrations, I could no longer leave damaged slings lying around. The potential dangers are too great.

I attended the Super Slings “Sling Inspection & Removal Criteria Training Course” on August 24, 2010 along with 5 of my co-workers. This was, by far, the best work-related course I have ever attended. This session was taught by Brant Peters and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He engaged all of the students with real-life examples, plenty of displays that we could get our hands on, thorough knowledge of the materials along with true enthusiasm for what he does.
This course was the talk of the building for the next few days as we all inspected our slings and chatted about how much we learned amongst ourselves and with our other co-workers.
As the Health and Safety Representative at my work, I learned invaluable lessons. I was unaware of the law surrounding sling use and would never have felt comfortable to inspect our slings here on site. I now have confidence to do so and a renewed enthusiasm to make my Company as safe as possible.
I feel that the value of this course to each attendee as well as each organization involved is incredibly high. The knowledge you will gain from it will amaze you, and it truly could be a life-saving course for many of us out there.
I would like to give a big Thank-you! to Brant for being such a great instructor, and to Super Slings for providing us with this wonderful opportunity to better ourselves both as a company and as individuals.

I have gotten to know Brant, and the great staff at Super Slings throughout the past year, and I am very pleased with how they have supplied us with all of our lifting needs. I have had them come in and perform our inspections every three months, and have never had a problem with their service or suggestions on all of our lifting devices. Their knowledge on the removal criteria and the government codes and regulations has helped all of us here to understand why, and the need to have slings inspected and repaired if needed. The 24hr, N4 online tracking system that they provide has made my job much easier to control, and keep track of all of our slings. It has provided me with an inventory of all our slings, as well as a certification that I can view at any time. Super Slings has been doing our inspections for over two and a half years now, and they have made our shops and our fleet safer by the service that they are providing.
Knowing that they come in and do a complete inventory on all slings, Nylon and Chain with a written record of each sling, and condition that it is in at the time, provides me with the peace of mind that all my slings will not go out in the field or be in my shop that should not be. It also frees up my time to be able to do my job as senior project manager.
They always inform me as to why they are removing a sling from service and have never charged me for a sling that I was not notified; I have never felt they were removing a sling that should not be.
I was impressed by the fact that they go out of there way to make our job in the field and in the shop easier, for example, the came up with a custom tagging system to identify all of our own slings in the field to prevent confusion. I had made a request to have the dates in larger print and in different format; they had it done the next day, as is now on all our slings they provide.
I had a chance to meet Brant Peters the first week he came on board with Super Slings, and I commend there whole program, with the fact they do not do an in-house inspection program. There boys are sent away to get proprely certified, with the credibility, and liability behind them. They were also able to not only cut there inspection time in half, but were able to organize and help us keep our cost down.
If at all you are looking for an inspection program in your shop, I highly recommend Brant and his team at Super Slings to come in and see what they can do for you. The have provided me with excellent service and I will continue to use them in the future.
