Super Slings Inc web slings are made with domestically fabricated nylon web to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. Our Nylon Slings come in either a natural (white) or treated (yellow) material from 1” to 12” widths. 1”-6” Nylon Slings in 3’ to 20’ lengths are built in house daily, other lengths and widths are available upon request as well as custom nylon bridles and slings. Round Slings are an endless loop of yarns protected by a double shell jacket. Super Slings Rounds slings are colored according to industry standard to indicate their weight capacity. Sizes SL-30(3,000 lbs.) to SL-900(90,000 lbs.) in 3’ to 20’ lengths are generally stocked in house, other lengths and custom bridles are available upon request. Wire Rope Slings are popular at construction sites because of their low cost and resistance to abrasion in rugged work environments. High tensile strength steel wires are combined in various constructions to form ropes with specific characteristics. Standard constructions for slings are referred to as 6X26, 6X36, 19X7, 7X19 & 7X7 designating the total number of wires being used. The greater the number of wires, the greater the flexibility and the lower the resistance to abrasion. Typical sling ropes use 6X26 in the smaller diameters and 6X36 at 1” diameter and larger, 7X19 or 7x7 Galvanized and stainless steel as well as PVC coated cables are also available. Chain slings are made from high strength alloy steel made specifically for the lifting industry. They have numerous configurations and end fittings. Standard slings are available in two grades of steel: Grade 80 and Grade 100. Chain slings are the most rugged slings available. They are resistant to both abrasion and cutting and may be used at temperatures up to 400°F (204˚C) without reducing capacity rating. Grade 100 slings are 25% stronger per chain diameter than Grade 80. Every Chain Sling built by Super Slings is pull tested on site and come with a test certificate.
